DESCRIPTION
The first season of Radical’s highly anticipated entry-level championship in Romania offers the best way for motorsports fans to start on their own racing path, and for racers from other series to enter the world of factory supported sportscar racing at a very attractive budget.
While being Radical’s “entry level race car”, the SR1 is a full-on purpose-built race car generating lap times faster than GT4 cars costing three times as much.
Radical Romania offers the SR1 as a complete “motorsport starter kit” comprising a new Radical SR1 car, FRAS race licencing support, a Radical race suit, track instruction, factory technical training, and a season’s SR1 Cup Race Entry fees – making it Romania’s most compelling entry point into circuit racing.
The SR1 Cup is a single day format as a Sunday race event featuring a 20-minute qualifying session and two 30-minutes sprint races.
RACE HIGHLIGHTS
The qualifying session and two races will take place on the same day to keep travel expenses to a minimum.
Experienced Radical staff and technicians are on-hand to explain everything that happens during a race weekend, from signing-on to taking the chequered flag, along with circuit driving theory, circuit driving techniques and how to prepare yourself for what lies ahead.
Radical also details everything you need to know about preparing the car. The SR1 has been designed to be both easy and inexpensive to maintain and Radical’s works team engineers will explain just how to do it.
